The battery is the heart of any off-grid or leisure power system — it stores the energy your solar panels generate so you can use it after dark. We stock deep cycle batteries in the three main chemistries: lithium LiFePO4 for the best cycle life, lowest weight and fastest charging; AGM for a dependable maintenance-free mid-range option; and gel for deep discharge tolerance in standby applications.

Choosing between them comes down to budget and use. Lithium typically delivers 3000+ cycles and usable capacity close to 100%, making it the cheapest per cycle despite the higher purchase price. AGM and gel remain solid choices for occasional weekend use or cold-storage installations.
