Installation Guide

  1. Step 1 (Critical): Connect the Battery terminals to the controller first. This allows the unit to auto-detect the system voltage (12/24/36/48V).
  2. Step 2: Connect the Solar PV array to the controller. Ensure the Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) does not exceed 150V.
  3. Step 3: Connect the Load (if applicable).
  4. Reverse this order for disconnection (PV first, then Battery).

Is this a genuine original part?

Can I use this with Lithium batteries?

Yes. This unit supports Lead-acid (Sealed, Gel, Flooded) and Lithium (LiFePO4, Li-NiCoMn) batteries. Lithium parameters can be set via the unit interface, MT50 remote meter, or PC software.

What happens if my solar panels exceed the rated power?

The PTR5415AN features a charging power and current limiting function. It will automatically limit the charging current to 50A to protect the system without damaging the controller.
