Questions & Answers
Is this a genuine original part?
This is a premium quality aftermarket fluid, manufactured to meet or exceed original equipment (OE) standards for hydraulic performance and seal compatibility.
Can I mix this with Green (Pentosin) Power Steering Fluid?
No. You should never mix Red mineral fluid with Green synthetic (Pentosin) fluid. Doing so can cause the fluid to coagulate and may damage the seals or the power steering pump. Always flush the system if switching types.
How do I know if this is the correct fluid for my car?
Check your vehicle owner's manual or the power steering reservoir cap. If it specifies "Dexron II," "Mineral Fluid Only," or "MB 236.5," this product is the correct choice.
Note: Professional installation is recommended. 4Drive and 4drive.co.uk are not responsible for damage caused by improper fluid selection.
